​From her apprenticeship days our founder loved to watch clients receive permanent makeup services in New York. Through her career and  the desire to continually grow, Lovesome Beauty Lounges creator jumped to the opportunity to learn a new skill when Microblading came out. From her initial training with Everlasting Brows she then went on to become a National trainer for GLAMD until venturing into the world of motherhood where she continued to learn, grow and teach locally in Texas. After receiving traditional permanent makeup certifications, advanced paramedical cosmetic tattooing certifications she then continued on with Scalp Micropigmentation and temporary camouflaging with stem cell and probiotic methods to soften complexion and discoloration in the face and chest. 

 Lovesome Beauty Lounge in Virginia now offers a variety of soft, natural appearing cosmetic tattoo options from eyelash enhancement eyeliner which sits between the natural eyelashes to Lip Blushing to refresh aging lips, or to enhance your lip shape to the fullest ability. Or, eyebrow enhancements such as a light microblade and nano brow options or powder brow for a softer makeup appearance.

* Nano Brow cosmetic tattooing simulates natural hair strokes. This is an advanced method often done together with powder brow styles creating a hybrid brow. Unlike Microblading, Nano brow is gentle on the skin creating less trauma and can be done with most skin types. As with all permanent makeup you should expect to receive multiple treatments on your eyebrows to complete the desired outcome and volume boost appointments will be strongly suggested anywhere from yearly up to every few years to keep your results in the best condition. Other terms for nano brows can be heard as hair stroke brows, hyperrealism brows, machine hair stroke, or nano blading.

* Powder Brow is a technique that has been used in the permanent makeup field for a long time. In the past this technique was referred to just as brow shading, often resulting in a heavier brow style. In recent years the technique has been revamped to achieve a soft pixelated appearing result that fades with time, pairs wonderfully with microblading or nano brows for a hybrid style brow. The technique adjustments now offer clients the ability to change the style with aging and trend changes. This trend is also referred to as Ombre Brow, Brow Tattooing, Brow PMU or Micropigmentation.

* Microblading was the most popular brow trend for many years. It still is one of the most requested styles for great reason. Microblading brows gives any client with normal or dry skin crisp clean appearing hairlike strokes. It has been referred to as soft tap, embroidered brows, micro strokes, feather brows and 3d brow. Microblading can be a very natural appearance or intense if desired. Yearly volume boosts for this service are recommended to keep the microbladed strokes visible as the strokes will soften and blend into a powder appearance with time.

 

* Hybrid Brows are a combination of techniques used to achieve the optimal results. Mixing techniques allows you to tailor the results to each individual client and their hair type as well as personal styles. This can also sometimes be referred to as a combo brow or fusion brow. This style is great fora full but natural appearing brow and its appearance is not as makeup like appearing as a powder brow can sometimes be. Mixing the hairlike strokes and powder creates great dimension in the eyebrow.

* Lip Blushing is the renewed and upgraded lip shading service! Lip Blushing uses a soft sweeping pendulum motion to create tiny pixels of color across the natural lip. With several layers of this you will arrive at the ideal color that has been mixed and matched for your specific lip color and skin undertones. Not only will it help hide blue, purple or dull shades we naturally develop in our lip as we age but we can refill your lost lip tissue, lip line and redefine the cupids bow highlighting a refreshed lip you didn't even know you still had. This service pairs well with clients who receive lip filler as well as clients who keep their natural lips. Some other commonly used names for this service are lip shading, bubble lips, aqua lips, as well as aquarelle lips.

*Scalp Micropigmentation is a wonderful service for men and women. This technique is used on the scalp, in the hairline or even at times on the face for anyone who is concerned with thinning hair. Scalp Micropigmentation is a great alternative to hair transplants or wearing hair pieces, toupees or wigs. You can achieve the appearance of fuller hair, a beard, or even someone who chooses to shave their head vs someone who has lost their hair. Multiple sessions and regular yearly volume boosts are highly recommended for this service. SMP. Hair tattoo, medical hairline tattoo, hair micropigmentation treatment are different names for this service.

*Eyeliner is a very popular cosmetic tattoo that can be traced back thousands of years in almost every continent. We offer a few options 

for this service. 

*Eyelash Enhancement liner - this is the placement of pigment in the skin directly where your eyelashes grow. This is the softest most natural appearing eyeliner; it frames your eyes, but most people will never even realize you have permanent make up! 

* Upper liner is creating a thin semi-permanent line just above the lash line, many refer to this as a makeup line. We can create varying styles within a specific parameter that will still allow the upper liner to heal and wear nicely over the years. 

*Lower liner uses the same placement style as the eyelash enhancement eyeliner to create a soft and natural appearing cosmetic tattoo. We stipple or create small pixels in the lower lash line instead of creating a solid line. (unless requested) This technique gives the appearance of a fuller bottom lash line and once healed does not look like makeup. It is usually recommended to receive all three areas for the best results. ​​​​​

 

Korean Glass Facial is also known as BB Glow, Complexion Smoothing Treatment, Undereye camouflage, semi permanent foundation. This treatment uses some similar techniques as skincare treatments and permanent makeup but the results are from nano needling plant based stem cells, peptides, herbs and nutrients into the skin. This treatment targets several common skin issues such as uneven complexion, tone, fine lines and wrinkles, acne, sagging skin to start. This treatment takes several session to start seeing results and must be maintained to continue to see the results past a few months.
